About PartnerStandard Council

For 20 years I've watched partnership professionals be told to just "figure it out."
Then came a flood of playbooks. We went from no map to a thousand maps. Most conflict. Most don't fit your context.

When I started PartnerStandard about 3 years ago, I wanted to create what I never had in my 20 years in the field: a clear source of truth. I started curating guides, templates, definitions, book picks, and other content in the Knowledge Hub and made it accessible for free.

I also published First Principle Partnerships, which shows how to build successful partnerships based on fundamental first principles instead of copying other companies' playbooks that don't work for you.
You don't need to be a Playbook Practitioner. You can be a Partnership Architect.

Today AI adds more content. Not more clarity.
We need experts to define what actually works. We need shared standards and shared language.

That is the PartnerStandard Council.

How it works:

  • As an expert, you get a partnership topic, question, poll, or a link to a collaborative article
  • You share your take and can see what other anonymous experts said
  • We publish the result as a verified standard with your name as a contributor

The goal is simple: bring experts together to build foundational partnership standards we can all rely on.

I'm curating a group of partnership pros with about 10 years of partnerships and business development experience. Free to join, but invite-only. Priority goes to full-time senior partnership leaders. Top consultants and fractional executives are considered on a selective basis.

Interested in creating a place where experienced professionals can collaborate to define standards that actually work?

What's in it for you as an Expert:

  • Be recognized as a thought leader among an exclusive group of senior professionals - your expertise gets published with your name, building your professional reputation without chasing algorithms or social media metrics.
  • Shape the industry you've helped build - your experience directly influences the definitions and standards that partnership teams will follow, creating real impact beyond your organization.
  • Your expertise becomes the reference point - contribute to creating the single source of truth that partnership professionals desperately need, replacing the chaos of conflicting playbooks with verified standards backed by collective experience.

Let's build the one shared source of truth, together.

Best,
Bernhard
